Manual Skills

Learn valuable hands-on skills while helping the planet through our e-waste recycling program.

Our E-Waste Recycling Program

Our Manual Skills program focuses on e-waste recycling, a hands-on, practical way to build fine motor skills, teamwork, and environmental awareness. In partnership with Substation33, participants learn to safely take apart and sort computer components for recycling and reuse, turning old technology into something positive for the planet.

Program details

The E-Waste Recycling program gives you the opportunity to learn new skills, work with tools and materials, and contribute to a cleaner environment. Guided by our supportive team, you’ll take part in purposeful activities that build coordination, concentration, and pride in your work.

Activities include:

  • Dismantling and sorting donated computer equipment
  • Recycling and repurposing components
  • Learning safe handling and tool use
  • Working as part of a team with shared goals
  • Building fine motor skills and problem-solving ability
